


You can even make him human controlled if you wanted (just brace yourself that you’re probably going to run into the original minsc which is kind of an immersion breaker). If you want minsc, simply export out his file (there are a few of them, with various char levels which the game picks from arbitrarily according to the protagonist’s own level when he hooks up with him) and place it in the char folder, then you can slot him into your game.

VERY POWERFUL (so don’t mess with things you don’t understand). This thing is BG’s GOD, way beyond the Team BG IE editor tools, though somewhat less user(newbie)friendly. You just need to import the character file you want in a slot and that’s about it, whether NPC or human-controlled. You pretty much have complete control over what characters you want in the party, you don’t have to re-roll from scratch.
